Severe Nut Allergies

Several children in school have severe nut and seed allergies.  Contact or ingestion of nuts/seeds can be fatal for these children. Please DO NOT bring nut or seed products into school (this includes hummous)

Bad Weather Guidance

Severe Weather GuidanceWe would like to remind parents about bad weather procedures. Firstly, we will make every effort to ensure the school stays open. The decision to close the school will only be made if we consider there is a health and safety issue for children and staff. If the school is to close we will communicate this as soon as possible in a variety of ways.

Firstly our website will be regularly updated with closure information. This can be found at: www.mundella.sheffield.sch.uk.

We also contact Radio Sheffield who will provide regular updates on school closures. Finally, we will email parents who have given us their contact details and send out messages via twitter. Please only take confirmation of school closures from the above official sources of information.

Please note that during days when ice and snow clearance is necessary only the main gate onto Derbyshire Lane will be in use in a morning and the side gate onto Mundella Place at the end of the day.  The gate onto the gennel will not be opened until such time as it is possible to clear paths from there to the building.  Please make sure that your child knows an alternative route to/from school if you do not bring/collect them.
