Music

In addition to teaching music within classes, Mundella pupils enjoy a range of musical experiences throughout the year, including: Singing in the community, One Voice Festival, Music assemblies, Concerteenies, Music in the Round, Young Voices, Song writing competitions, Rocksteady lessons, individual music lessons, Proms in the Playground, The Halle and much more!

MUSIC MARK SCHOOL

As of March 2024, we are proud to have been nominated as a Music Mark School.

Music Mark is the UK Association for Music Education, championing and supporting access to music for all children and young people.

 

PUPIL VOICE 

 

The KS2 Children enjoyed taking part in the Young Voices concert at the Sheffield Arena.

Foundation Stage and Year 1 children attended Music in the Round and performed "The Chimpanzees of Happy Town" alongside live musicians at the Crucible.

Some KS2 children enjoyed a trip to Halle at City Hall. We went to make some music on the way back too!

 

The Y4 Children sang songs from many different musicals at the Octagon for the One Voice Festival and were exceptional!
