Healthy Minds

Healthy Minds is a school-based project which aims to support the emotional health and well-being of children and young people. It puts emotional resilience at the heart of children’s health and well-being and recognises its impact on their learning, attainment, behaviour and future employability.
The project is led by Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust’s CAMHS team working in collaboration with schools across the city.
Aims for this year:
- To promote belonging, emotional resilience and relationships in all classrooms through regular sensory breaks, worry boxes and morning greetings.
- To support all staff in managing their own well-being and work-life balance through a staff-led, community approach.
- To share some of our Healthy Minds Learning with parents (Spring Term to tie in with Children’s Mental Health Week)
The School's designated Senior Mental Health Lead is Roxie Godden.
Children's Mental Health Week is taking place from 9th to 15th February 2026.
Take part in Children's Mental Health Week at home or with your community group!
Free resources are now available to download for anyone wanting to take part as a family or a community group!
This year's theme is This is My Place and we're encouraging families and community groups to support their children and young people to feel a sense of belonging.
