  • Mundella Summer Fayre Our annual summer fayre will take place on Saturday 29 June between 12 noon and 2pm.  Friends of Mundella kindly run the fayre to help raise money for the school.  They are looking for volunteers to help run stalls and generally help out.  This may be for half an hour to help set up, or an hour or so running a stall.  If you are able to volunteer please email Friends of Mundella at friends@mundella.sheffield.sch.uk.  Thank you.

Severe Nut Allergies

Several children in school have severe nut allergies.  Contact or ingestion of nuts can be fatal for these children. Please DO NOT bring nuts/nut products into school

Bad Weather Guidance

Severe Weather GuidanceWe would like to remind parents about bad weather procedures. Firstly, we will make every effort to ensure the school stays open. The decision to close the school will only be made if we consider there is a health and safety issue for children and staff. If the school is to close we will communicate this as soon as possible in a variety of ways.

Firstly our website will be regularly updated with closure information. This can be found at: www.mundella.sheffield.sch.uk.

We also contact Radio Sheffield who will provide regular updates on school closures. Finally, we will email parents who have given us their contact details and send out messages via twitter. Please only take confirmation of school closures from the above official sources of information.

Please note that during days when ice and snow clearance is necessary only the main gate onto Derbyshire Lane will be in use in a morning and the side gate onto Mundella Place at the end of the day.  The gate onto the gennel will not be opened until such time as it is possible to clear paths from there to the building.  Please make sure that your child knows an alternative route to/from school if you do not bring/collect them.
